If you have any facts to add, please send them in. Its fun, but tell me where you got them. Most of the facts listed are from the members' mouths. Yes, all true though.

In The Leaving Song Pt. 2 if you have ever wondered what the Spanish means:
Yo he estado aqui muchas veces y regreso to...
translates to: I have been here many times before and I return to...
Y regreso aqui otra vez y comienzo to...
translates to: Return here again, and begin to...

The face on the
Dork EP is actually Adam's. Poor Adam.

Davey wears a size 7 ring.

The Great Disapointment is the longest AFI song (notice I didn't say track).

Davey has done vocals on Tiger Army songs, and the on The Transplants "Quick Death" track.

Jade Puget was in a band called Redemption 87.

Davey's side project band only released one cd, and one only. The name of the band: Son Of Sam.

Hunter has a side band called "Hunter's Revenge" which he says, "is a solo project I started a couple years ago. On the Hunter
Revenge CD I play all the instruments, and do all the programming and all the
synthesizers and what not. I really went for an early 80's production aesthetic
when making the CD. It gets a lot of comparisons to Prince, and I sing in a high
falsetto mostly. It's all influenced by stuff like Prince, Michael Jackson, Cool
In The Gang, and other bands from that period of time. There is some new wave
influence too."

So the rumour, yes the one that is brought up often about AFI standing for something
besides A Fire Inside. As much as everyone can say it stood for "A Fucking Idiot" or "Asking For It" AFI doesn't agree:
[Team Digital] Mmmkay...moving on. I heard a rumour that before AFI meant 'A Fire Inside,' it stood for 'Asking For It'...is this true?
[AFI] No. Before, when people would write us to get stickers and patches and stuff, the letters would have to be addressed to 'Asking For It' because they were asking for our merch and stuff. AFI has always stood for 'A Fire Inside.'
Lets leave it at that.
